Boom Boom Pow!!

Kellan loves the Black Eyed Peas and his favorite song is Boom Boom Pow. So as almost everyone has heard this is Kellan trying to sing to it. Sorry for the quality of video, it was dark in the house and had to film it while he was willing to sing for the camera, he has stage fright!

I know, I'm super slow at adding to the blog now. I just keep forgetting! Here are a few pictures of Kellan at the Sonoma County Fair 2009. It is so much fun now that he can do some things on his own.

Beach Trip!!

Jimmy and I took Kellan to the beach on Tuesday the 14th and these are a few of the photos. Poor Kellan got a little sunburned on his back but it didn't seem to bother him at all.

Big Boy Bed!!

We bought Kellan the ultimate little boy bed, a Lightning McQueen Racecar bed. He has slept in it all three nights that we've had it now without climbing out at all. I guess we can disassemble the crib now since he doesn't need it anymore.

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom

We took Kellan to six flags on Wednesday the 17th to see the animals and ride some rides.

We went to the elephant show first and saw a huge female elephant who in elephant world is a smaller one. After that we went to the kids zone and played in the water and went on some kiddie rides with Kellan. Around 1pm we went over to watch the dolphin and whale show, he liked the them, until they splashed him! We played around and saw some very happy animals which, fyi they are much happier here than the SF Zoo. Right before we left we had a drawing of Kellan done with an adult baseball player body, it's super cute and I'll post it soon. I hope we get another chance to go back soon.

Zoo!!!

We took Kel to the San Francisco Zoo on Wednesday for an over due birthday gift. As y'all know Kellan turned 2 on May 9th. The giraffes were huge!

We have been told by Kellan that monkeys say, "aah, aah, ooh, ooh".

That sounds back words to me but whatever.

Kellan was tuckered out! He only made it about 20 mins into the car ride home and was out.SO PRECIOUS!

Kellan Loves His Bubbles!!

I don't even need to say much, but that he could and would blow bubbles all day every day,(with the occasional snack break or "nack" as Kellan says it). This was on Mothers Day after mommy got home from a long day at work. Who would'nt love to come home to this little boy. Kellan is lucky that he gets to stay home all day with daddy who is an expert bubble blower, FYI.

Giants Game May 17th, 2009

Maybe it's not the best idea to take a two year old to a Friday night baseball game in San Francisco. We'll just say that people are very pushy when they drink and watch baseball. Aside from fighting through the crowds of people everywhere, Kellan had a lot fun and even got to stay up past his bed time! Here's how it went.......

You can tell we have a good boy when I told his to have some of my food and out of everything on the plate with a cheeseburger, and garlic fries he picks the two tomatoes!!

He got to swing at a few pitches and run the bases!!

At the end of the night we had to bundle up for the cold San Francisco night. Kellan stopped to admire the Police car, right before he got in the Jeep and fell asleep.

Happy Easter

Kellan had a ton of fun this year at G-Ma's house for Easter. We started out coloring eggs for everybody the night before and woke up to the Easter bunny egg hunt at home. Later in the day we went over to G-Ma's to have brunch and another egg hunt. Thanks to everybody for making this day so fun.

DESIREE IS NOW A 911 DISPATCHER AT THE SANTA ROSA POLICE DEPT.

As you all know I have been trying to get this job for a long time now. I first applied on October 22nd, 2007! I took the first test about a month later and since that I've had two more test, three interviews, a background inspection, a meeting with a phychologist (to make sure I'm not crazy), and a psychical at kaiser!

Big Boy Dentist Trip

Kellan had his first trip to the dentist today and did so good! Not one little cry or whine. I know this picture looks a little grumpy but that was only because he didn't like the bib so much. All of his teeth are perfect no stains or spots at all. Yeah for brushing our teeth!! Now we are supposed to start flossing them also, we'll see how that goes.

Pony Ride

I thought this was blog worthy since Kellan loves pony's. Such a big boy. I can't believe that he'll be two next month! He walks around making horse noises all day, maybe somebody should buy him a pony for his birthday!! Ha, ha, just kidding. Don't get any silly ideas.

Look ma, I can run!

Kellan thinks he is the coolest guy in the Hundred Acre Woods! He can run on the treadmill! FYI: we keep it switched off and unplugged so there will not be any accidents.

Big Boy Moments

Kellan's first time outside on his big boy skates! Oh my gosh, not even two and the boy can skate like a pro. Or close to one! Thanks to Uncle Adam and Auntie Laura for the skates at Christmas, he loves them. These skates are so cool, one wheel locks and the other three roll so he can do it without our help! Awesome!!
